This year’s showcase is themed “Art in the Present · Bloom the Future” with the mission “Dance Together, Grow Together.” The event aims to promote international exchange in art education and talent development, and to advance the prosperity of cultural and artistic collaboration between China, Europe, and the Belt and Road countries.

First Stop: Malaysia International Art Competition

Date: August 20, 2023

After more than four months of preparation and joint efforts by the organizing committee, the event is set to bring together outstanding dance programs from China and Europe, with the Chinese Dance Delegation sharing the stage with international performers in a grand artistic exchange.

  • From July 20, the global call for top dance programs officially begins.

  • Officially supported, authoritative and prestigious – institutions are encouraged to submit excellent works.

  • YPAC official certificates and trophies will be awarded.

  • Selected programs will be broadcast on global art showcase platforms.

     

  • Outstanding young cultural ambassadors will help spread the beauty of Chinese culture to the world.

  • Maximum cash prize of RMB 100,000 for outstanding participants.

Each year, more than 200,000 talented dancers and artists worldwide participate. This platform enhances professional dance skills, presents the beauty of dance on the international stage, and shares the charm of Chinese culture with the world.

Second Stop: Malaysia International Art Study Tour

Date: August 18–23, 2023 | 6 Days, 5 Nights

By invitation of the Malaysia Arts and Culture Association, the Chinese Dance Delegation will embark on an immersive international study program:

  • Visit the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (ASWARA) – Malaysia’s only national public university dedicated to both contemporary and traditional arts. Disciplines include music, dance, drama, creative writing, film, arts management, cultural heritage, animation, multimedia, and fine arts.

  • Experience international masterclasses, art symposiums, and hands-on Malaysian cultural and handicraft workshops.

  • Explore local architecture, cultural heritage, and history.

  • Strengthen English learning and cross-cultural communication skills while engaging with Southeast Asian cultural landscapes.
